The Guild pays tribute to Wilton's brave soldiers
It’s an important time of year when we come together to remember those who have made enormous sacrifices for their country and those who continue to do so.
We’re thinking of the huge sacrifices made by the sixty-eight brave Wilton-born soldiers who have lost their lives in combat since 1914. Wiltshire based bugler, Elliott, performed The Last Post at sunrise in our historic courtyard last year as we filmed a moving video tribute
This year, we placed poppies in the courtyard as our remembrance tribute to the huge sacrifices made by the brave soldiers who have lost their lives in combat since 1914.
The installation of poppies will remain on display until just after Armistice Day on 11th November.
