Update

2022 was a busy year for us as we manoeuvred through the pandemic and the many other challenges businesses have faced.

Construction projects

Work on a large construction project to transform buildings facing onto the busy A36 completed at the end of 2022.

The project, with an investment of over half a million pounds, modernised over 4,000 sq ft into a stunning ground-floor flexible retail or dining space and five newly created modern office spaces to the first floor.

Serviced office space.

In the summer of 2022, we launched a partnership with IncuHive who have supported us in regenerating some of our first floor and Courtyard spaces into serviced offices. The project has so far led to twelve new businesses moving into the area, with the plan for more during 2023.

Full-fibre broadband

Work completed last month that sees The Guild join the many Salisbury-based businesses able to benefit from the 2020 super-charged broadband network installed by Openreach. This project is crucial for existing retail businesses, serviced office users (particularly technology-led companies) and for attracting new businesses to the scheme.

Tea Room at The Guild

February saw the opening of a new café, led by local foody Laura Evans. Laura brings with her many years of experience in the food industry and in the few weeks since the Tea Room opened we have seen new life bought to the Courtyard.

Riverside regeneration project

Our next and most significant redevelopment is the regeneration of the former historic carpet factory building. With its spacious and airy waterside location, the 22,500 sq ft area is set to become the scheme’s lead attraction, housing flexible retail, leisure and dining opportunities.

Construction tenders are currently in the planning stage, and we hope to announce a building programme and new occupiers in the coming months.
